Gymnasts, tap dancers, and Broadway dancers perform alongside stars from the Bolshoi Ballet and American Ballet Theater in the evening?s program. ASH Contemporary Dance fuses ballet, jazz, and modern with cutting edge music from artists like DeathCab for Cutie, Angela Ai, Clint Mansell, and Grammy-winning composer Peter Lord. Created in 2003 by Philadelphia native Braham Logan Crane, 22, ASH Contemporary is one of Philadelphia?s most promising young dance companies. In addition to shows in Philadelphia and New York City, the company has performed in Canada and throughout the east coast, and has plans to tour the United States and Europe later in 2006.
