Ascend LEAD Workshop: Reach for the Top September 20, 2008

YFPA encourages Filipino professionals working in the field of finance and accounting to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity hosted by Ascend.

This is the first module of our 2008-2009 LEAD Workshop Series. This is an Interactive Workshop. Participants will have small group hands-on workshop with senior business leaders. The business leaders will share experiences through a short panel format, and then through intimate small group work tables.

This workshop focuses on learning about successes and challenges in reaching the top: managerial skill building, leadership approaches, and team building. Participants discuss practical takeaways of do’s and don’t and techniques of being effective leaders. Key discussion topics include management style and approach, managing upward, and creating and leading diverse teams.

· Ideas to build a career that plays to your natural strengths
· Effective communication techniques
· Do’s and Don’ts for organizational advancement
