Arun Ghosh Jazz Quartet July 10, 2008

Arun is a leader of the new wave of Indo-Jazz Fusion music in the UK and a rapidly rising star on the jazz circuit. A prodigal multi-instrumentalist - inspired by a wide range of influences including John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Rabindanath Tagore, as well as aspects of urban music, Ghosh heads a quartet that will perform a mix of contemporary and club sounds from his widely acclaimed debut album ‘Northern Namaste’. A British-Asian clarinetist, composer and music educator - selected for this year’s edition of the Jerwood/PRS Foundation ‘Take Five’ for emerging jazz musicians.

Live in Streatham after recent performances in Pizza Express, Soho and Vortex Jazz Club, Stoke Newington.
