Four prominent San Francisco galleries will open their doors exclusively for ARTWEAR in the Galleries, a pre-holiday sale of jewelry, clothing and accessories. Now in its fifth year, ARTWEAR in the Galleries is a daylong event featuring 24 select artisans specializing in wearable art. This year proceeds from sales will benefit ArtCare, the San Francisco Arts Commission’s (SFAC) recently established fund that was initiated in collaboration with the San Francisco Art Dealers Association (SFADA) to help preserve and maintain the City’s vast Civic Art Collection. Other participating galleries include: George Krevsky Gallery, Togonon Gallery and Patricia Sweetow Gallery.
