Arts Show Opening and Dance and Music Concert on April 12th, 2008. April 12, 2008

The Capitol Hill Art League will open its show "Imagine" at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, 5-7 pm FREE. The show will be juried by David Daniels, an accomplished watercolorist, whose impressionistic work is informed by his training in botany and biology, and his reverence for the environment. He teaches painting at Montgomery College, the Smithsonian Institution, and privately in his Silver Spring studio.
At 7pm the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop will present an hour concert of dance and music in its Black Box Theater, featuring Tommy Parlon, a native Washingtonian, who trained at Arizona State and Virginia Commonwealth universities and has choreographed for, and performed with, a number of major companies. $10 suggested donation.
