Arts of the Fur Trade November 6, 2010

Step back in time and discover the arts that were once a part of daily survival. Fort visitors will experience how everyday works of art played an important part of the daily life of the mid-1800s. Re-enactors and artisans in period clothing will demonstrate old-time skills such as spinning, silversmithing, blacksmithing, woodworking, open-fire cooking and Native American basketweaving.
