Join Bay Area singer-songwriter Saul Kaye in a night of Jewish blues! His latest CD, Jewish Blues Volume One!, creates a rich, cross cultural musical tapestry by dipping the Old Testament and Jewish slave experience into the incredible blues music developed by African American slaves. According to J Weekly, "Kaye writes soulful and fun music that is as appealing in its accessibility as it is in its versatility." His deep grooves and catchy melodies are reminiscent of Dave Matthews, Bruce Hornsby and Sting.
Arts Cafe brings contemporary music to the South Peninsula in an informal setting. Scheduled for the first Thursday of every month, these concerts are for anyone interested in listening to dynamic musicians play original music in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The Arts Cafe series will be held in the OFJCC's Albert and Janet Schultz Cultural Arts Hall on the Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life.
