T..J. Wilcox was born in Seattle in 1965 and currently lives and works in New York. Among his solo exhibitions are shows at Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (2007), Kunstverein Munich (2005), and the Institute of Contemporary Art, London (1998). His films have been screened at venues such as the Museum of Modern Art, New York (2005) and Tate Modern, London (2003).
