Metalsmith Huang discusses his work focusing on raised vessels formed by traditional techniques.

DAVID HUANG is a full-time studio metalsmith. His work focuses on raised vessels using traditional silversmithing techniques and implementing finely chased and rich patinated surfaces. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a BFA in Metalsmithing and is now featured in galleries including del Mano Gallery in Los Angeles and Vale Craft Gallery in Chicago. Additionally, David’s work has been featured in many publications, such as Metalsmith and American Craft.
