Project Basho is pleased to host photographer Keliy Anderson-Staley for a presentation on her work which engages issues of shared and personal identity, history, and belonging.
Her current project Imagined Family Heirlooms, found letters, pictures mix with original photographs and collages. Presented together, these arbitrarily connected objects coalesce into an imaginary heirloom collection and draws attention to the rootless nature of many American identities.
