Counting on Chance: 25 Years of Artist’s Books by Robin Price, Publisher is an art exhibition that brings together 25 years of artist’s books, prints, broadsides and ephemera. Robin Price is a world-renowned experimental letterpress printer and book artist who is based in Connecticut.
The exhibition showcases Price's work from her beginnings as a feminist printer, through her fine-press work in traditional formats and her most recent art, which is intensely collaborative and incorporates chance. Price combines the highest levels of aesthetics, craftsmanship, and technique with risk-taking in her complex books.

Counting on Chance was curated by Suzy Taraba, head of Special Collections, Olin Library of Wesleyan University and adapted for the Center for Book and Paper Arts by Jessica Cochran, curator of exhibitions and programs.
