Free Day of the Dead, Ghost & Folk Art Show!

“Arté de Muertos” EXPO is the largest Day of the Dead arts event happening in New Mexico on July 18-19, 2009 at the Santa Ana Star Casino. Over 80 specialty artisans from around the state will showcase an array of cultural and colorful Dia de los Muertos, Santos, Ghosts, and Metaphysical themed items. This exceptional event, first held in Bernalillo last April was a tremendous success and quickly out grew that location. Additionally, professionals in the paranormal and metaphysical fields will share their talents to round out the mix. Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrates the memory and lives of loved ones who have died.
Antonio R. Garcez, New Mexico’s best known ghost story author, has confirmed his attendance for the entire weekend and will be autographing his popular Ghost Story books of New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, American Indian and California. Garcez is an award winning author having nine best selling books of southwest ghost stories, and has been featured on popular TV series productions as “Americas Scarriest Places” hosted by famed ‘The Exorcist’ actress, Linda Blair.
The “Arté de Muertos” EXPO offers free admission and free parking for the public. The Santa Ana Star Casino is located on the Santa Ana Pueblo.
