Art Workshop: Melodies & Dancing Feet March 26, 2011

CMOM would like to thank the Briggs Foundation for the funding of the educational Teens Leading our Community (TLC) workshops. These fun, interactive workshops were inspired by our summer teen volunteer program. The sessions allow teens to share their skills and knowledge with children, ages 5-10, in a non-formal learning environment. Students from Hutchinson's exceptional music, dance and theatre departments lead sessions that focus on innovative performing arts techniques and approaches. In addition, teens from CREWME.com, in association with On Location Memphis International Film and Movie Festival, teach an extraordinary film making workshop that fascinates even the youngest rising stars and producers. Parties with Pizzazz team members conduct face painting and balloon artwork workshops. Each participant receives a souvenir gift and all sessions follow the Tennessee Curriculum Standards of learning. All classes begin at 11:30am and space is limited.
