Art Works 4th Friday Art Exhibits and Opening Reception March 26, 2010

She’s back! As anticipated as spring, Christiane Middendorf comes to Richmond Virginia for an encore exhibit at Art Works. If you like color, movement and expression then you’re going to love this German artist’s abstract paintings. Also opening is a very special exhibit by Richmond senior artists. This show, Elders: Creative Spirit celebrates the artistry of our elders in the community. In addition to professional artists, elders from four senior organizations in Richmond will be displaying their work. Three new solo shows open by artists: Beth Nixon, Bill Harrison and Laura Smith and the monthly All Media Show juried by Chuck Scalin and Mim Golub

The opening reception is March 26 from 7pm – 10pm with music by Jeff Smith and a dance performance by r’va dance collective. The exhibits continue through April 18, 2010. Exhibits are free and open to the public.
