Gallery 800, representing IATSE Local 800, announces its second art exhibition of 2010, Art Unites Spring. Located in the heart of the famed NoHo Arts District, Gallery 800 showcases guild members’ personal art in a series of shows throughout the year.
A few of the 30 artists participating in the exhibition are: Evelyn Barbier, Set Designer on Bruce Almighty (2003) and Evan Almighty (2007); Arte Contreras, Art Director who has helped design several theme parks for Paramount Studios, Warner Brothers and SeaWorld in Asia and Dubai; Catherine Giesecke, Scenic Artist on The Young and the Restless; Patrick Janicke, 3D Illustrator on Date Night (2010) and Concept Designer on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009); Jay Johnson, Main Title Designer on Inglorious Basterds (2009), Kill Bill (2003) and Kill Bill 2 (2004); and Rhea Rebbe, Assistant Art Director on the television series, Hannah Montana.
Art Unites Spring will run through the end of July.
