Art Unites: “Share the Holidays with Us” is opened now and will run through December 19, 2010. Gallery 800 showcases Art Directors Guild members’ personal art in a series of shows throughout the year. In the spirit of “Art Unites,” Gallery 800 invited the Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA) to participate in the upcoming “Share the Holidays,” exhibition. Four of their Set Decorators will have their works displayed along with 36 artists from the ADG including:
• Pierre Bernard Jr. – Graphic Artist on “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” who had a recurring skit on “Late night with Conan O’Brian” called “Pierre Bernard’s Recliner of Rage.”
• Andrea Dopaso – Set Designer on “Star Trek” (2009) and a Prop Illustrator on “The Last Airbender” (2010).
• Gayle Etcheverry – Scenic Artist who paints the red carpet Oscar® statues for the Academy Awards® and the set for the Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
• Gia Grosso – Set Decorator on the upcoming “Little Red Wagon” (2012) and “Our Family Wedding” (2010).
• Melody Harrop – Assistant Art Director on popular television series such as “Entourage”; “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” and “Will & Grace.”
• Lawrence Hubbs – Set Designer on “The Last Airbender” (2010) and “Grown Ups” (2010).
• Jeff Skrimstad – Four time Emmy Award winning Graphic Designer for his work on “Super Bowl XXXIX” (2005); “NASCAR on Fox” (2001); “MLB on Fox” (1996); and “NFL on Fox” (1994).
