Art Opening: FRESH Women at STUDIO Gallery May 19, 2006

FRESH Women is a Bay Area art collective providing a collaborative female voice in contemporary art. Using the language of painting, photography, installation and film, FRESH Women search for fresh approaches in each medium and fresh significance in their content. Work will be on display from Rena Buchgraber, Michele King, Ann Maley, Elisabeth Scheidl and Michelle Wilcove. Their pieces are completed individually, but when viewed together they represent a collaborative viewpoint rich with color, texture and images. The show runs from May 17th - June 4th, with an opening reception on Friday, May 19th, 6-8 pm. Gallery hours are Wednesday - Friday 11 am - 8 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 11 am - 6 pm.
