Art Opening for John Costin November 7, 2009

John Costin will be presenting and speaking on November 7th, at 7pm at the Honeymoon Island State Park, Rotary Centennial Nature Center. John pursues an interest in capturing in visual form, the rich and diverse bird life and other subjects of his home state. Working in the etching medium, he creates complex and colorful images of birds, botanicals and other subjects that enrich the viewer’s perception.
Artwork will be on display and for sale at the center through April 15th. Your purchase supports the Friends and our local artists! Friends of the Island Parks is a CSO (Citizens Support Organization). Florida Park Service CSOs are volunteer organizations that sponsor events, raise funds, and support the goals of the parks. The Friends of the Island Parks CSO's main focus is the support of Caladesi Island State Park and Honeymoon Island State Park
