Bio:

Jack Woodworth was born in Saigon, Vietnam at the height of the war. One day while riding his bicycle home from making athletic shoes he was captured and thrown in jail for reasons still unclear to this day. While in jail Jack befriended a guard who took pity on him and allowed him the use of chalk to mark time on the walls. Instead, Jack began sketching on the walls of his cell. All manors of expression where forbidden in jail so when his drawings came to the attention of the warden he decided to deal with this matter firsthand. Doling out punishment to delinquent jailbirds was of particular delight to the warden. So with his favorite bludgeoning stick the warden made is way to cell D8. But when he flung open the heavy metal door, the warden was shocked by a beauty he had never before witnessed. What he saw resonated so deeply within him that he began uncontrollably weeping. In the eyes of the Viet Cong this was a sign of weakness so to save face the warden had no other choice but to beat to death every person that had witnessed his momentary show of humanity. Blood soaked he made his way to his final victim. Jack stood defiantly in front of his artwork. The warden raised his weapon but instead of reining his fatal blows upon Jack he bowed and presented the mallet to him in a sign of respect. It was at this very moment that Jack realized art had saved his life. To this day he is trying to repay his debt to art.
