Walking Tours for Consumers
New York, NY – August 8, 2011 – Ekstein Development, the developers of +aRt, a new development in the heart of West Chelsea’s thriving art district, announced today they will offer 45 minute “Welcome to the Neighborhood” tours for potential buyers every Thursday at 6:30 P.M., beginning this week throughout the month of September.
The complimentary tours will begin Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 6:30 P.M in the sales office of +aRt, located at 540 West 28th Street between 10th and 11th avenues. Each tour will be informative and have lively discussions featuring neighborhood highlights including the Starret Lehigh building, a much heralded modernist experiment in industrial architecture completed in 1931, along with neighborhood fixtures including The High Line, Chelsea Piers, The Frying Pan, Hotel Americano, The High Line Skate Rink, Architect’s Row and Chelsea Cove. The tour will also spotlight distinguished galleries and notable restaurants and will end at the all natural, organic ice-cream vendor Coolhaus.
