Enjoy a summer evening experiencing vintages al fresco at The Art of Wine, a can't-miss event in the Carmel Arts & Design District.
On Saturday, June 19 from 5 to 10 p.m., guests 21 years of age and older can enjoy a variety of wines in the heart of the Midwest’s premiere arts and design destination. The district’s galleries, shops, restaurants and entertainment will be available to all ages at Art of Wine.
Art of Wine allows guests 21 and over to thrill their palates with unlimited wine tastings for only $15. Some wines will also be available for purchase by the bottle. The first 2,500 wine-tasting participants also receive a souvenir wine glass.
Photo identification will be required for all guests who wish to participate in the tasting.
Local Jazz and R&B vocalist Blair Clark will also take the stage for an outdoor performance at Art of Wine from 6-9 p.m.
Participating wineries include:
Best Vineyards Winery
Buck Creek Winery
Carousel Winery
Grape Inspirations Winery
Mallow Run Winery
Turtle Run Winery
Winzerwald Winery
Many of the Carmel Arts & Design District boutiques and merchants will host special sales or promotions during the festival, while the diverse collection of galleries will host exhibits that spotlight wine-inspired works created by local, national and international artists. Some galleries and shops will even bring The Art of Wine to the already-colorful District streetscape by displaying giant, custom-designed Nebuchadnezzar wine bottles transformed by local artists. Again, the District’s galleries, shops, restaurants and entertainment will be available to all ages at Art of Wine.
Please note: The $15 fee for the tasting is cash only. If you wish to purchase bottles of wine at the wineries’ booths, credit cards will be accepted at most locations.
