Art of July July 4, 2009

The Fountain Square Arts Council is proud to present, the Art of July. A unique community event where everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate.

The event starts out with a parade travelling through Fountain Square and Fletcher place. The parade is a one-of-a-kind platform for presenting artwork in the public sphere and anyone is invited to participate. We encourage groups and organizations, family and friends and any other creative minds out there to sign up to be a part of this unique event. Our event will showcase contemporary artworks of all sizes and shapes that address parades, street pageantry and community celebration The parade is scheduled for Saturday, July 4th 2009 at 6:00pm.

After the parade is finished, head to the National City Bank parking lot and enjoy some live music and neighborhood fun, provided by Deano's Vino. This is an all-ages event, and will end with the grand finale of the downtown Indianapolis Fireworks display.
