Art Karat Collection Exhibition September 25, 2008

Art Karat’s collection has a wide variety of both classic and contemporary designs made on a silver base with gold vermeil studded with precious and semi-precious gemstones. Each piece is handcrafted by some of India’s finest craftsmen. The collection is inspired by the temples of Khajuraho, the gaiety of Rajasthan and the splendour of the Mughal empire. Asha Kamal Modi, gemologist and chief designer for Art Karat recreates some of the masterpieces for the exhibition, “Grandeur of the Past”.
