It will be held on October 3rd, 2010 from 12pm to 4pm as a site-specific performance organized by SAMAVESHA, an international multidisciplinary performing arts company, and directed by Laura Inserra.

Art in Nature / The Nature of Art is a FREE entrance site-specific Art Festival with live music, dance, theater, sculpture, painting, photography, poetry, martial arts, circus arts, activities for children and other visual and performing arts.

Come experience an immersion into art, nature and the beauty of their creation.

Art in Nature / the Nature of Art will be structured as a site-specific series of interactive events. The public is invited to move through several installations and to both watch, listen, and/or participate. These activities will not be on a set schedule but ongoing, facilitating a flow based on people interests. Events include storytelling, watching artists create works, dance, music, martial arts, circus, theater and activities particularly suited for children of various ages.

‘Art in Nature’ - different expressions of art performed as site-specific works through meadows and redwoods.

‘The Nature of Art’ - artists revealing their process of creativity, techniques, and the tools they use, providing unique insights into the artistic process.
