This series offers global insight into masterpieces of architecture, sculpture, and painting created from prehistory to our own day. This spring, the lecturer studies the period from about 1600 to 1800, comparing the art of the Baroque, Rococo, and Neoclassical periods in Western Europe with contemporaneous achievements throughout the world.
