Art Exhibition TAPAH by Rekha Shivadasani August 2, 2009

Rekha Shivadasani an artiste and a teacher of art open her third exhibition titled 'Tapah' or 'tapasya' soon. Her style; though difficult to confine; is a blend of semi-abstract forms and empty spaces interrupted with the reticulate venation akin to a leaf; symbolising her harmony with nature.
For Rekha, 'Tapah' is genuinely a culmination of her ceaseless meditation.
Tapah will DISPLAY about 30 pieces of small and medium sized paintings, which includes a few works of charcoal. Rekha calls herself a very regimented experimentalist and hopes that her THIRD exhibition in Mumbai will be received with accolades.
