Monthly artist showcase, Art Displaced: Neighborhood Natives, returns this Saturday, September 27th at 7 PM featuring the work of esteemed Stark County artist, Megan Mars.
This month’s show will feature titled: “Wings of Inspiration” will feature extensive work from Stark County artist, Megan Mars. A self taught artist, Mars works in both digital and traditional style mediums. Her paintings are beautiful portraits of women that explore realms of fantasy with a pin-up style twist.
A feast for the senses, the audience will be treated to a live poetry reading by Peter Hessman, as well as improvisational performances by the Ananda Center's Belly Dancers & World Drummers.

Refreshments will be provided by Massillon restaurant, Herbie’s Carry-Out. Locally owned and operated by Eric and Ann Smith, Herbie’s features a delicious menu of hot subs, pulled pork, and much more.
Generously funded by ArtsinStark, all Art Displaced events are free to the public providing a unique opportunity to celebrate the arts, reintroduce valuable real estate, and highlight local vendors throughout Massillon.
