ART CARS TO APPEAR AT FINGER FURNITURE (Saturday, May 1) May 1, 2010

Those crazy, out-of-this world Art Cars, described by some as sculptures on wheels, will be on display at Finger Furniture, 4001 Gulf Freeway and Cullen, on Saturday, May 1 from noon – 4 pm.

The May 1 Art Car exhibit at Finger Furniture is free and open to the public.

The collection of Art Cars scheduled to be on display include the Orange Show’s “Atomic Dog” and the Houston Grand Opera’s “Brunnhilda.” Other Art Cars scheduled to be on display include “The Beach” by Ben Gibson; “Shattered Vanity” by Nicole Strine; “Thompson” by Mark Bradford; “The Von Tikki” by Jake Goldstein; and “The Z-bra” by Amy Lynch.
