The Broome County Public Library invites you to celebrate National Library Week as we connect with the creative world of children's book author, Marjorie Flack. Join us for an evening of literature and enchantment on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, in the Decker Community Room from 7:00 - 8:00 PM as Helen Flack presents The Art and Family History of Marjorie Flack, with artwork and illustrations, dolls, books, and other author memorabilia. Marjorie Flack was born in 1897, and is known for The Story of Ping, and was awarded a Caldecott Honor in 1947 for The Boats on the River.
