Twenty-six Texas artists spent a year or more exploring 19 Hill Country properties to interpret their experiences in nature through art that will be on exhibit and for sale during "Art and Conservation: Hidden Treasures," on view April 8-10 at the Cibolo Nature Center as part of the Boerne Professional Artists' 15th Annual Parade of Artists. "Art and Conservation: Hidden Treasures" is presented by the Cibolo Nature Center, the Hill Country Council for the Arts and Boerne Professional Artists to raise awareness about and promote conservation of Hill Country animals, plants, land and water through the unique perspectives of different artists. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the sale of the artwork will help support children's outdoor-education programs at the Cibolo Nature Center. The exhibit will be open to the public 10 a.m.-5 p.m. April 8, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. April 9 and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. April 10. Admission is free.
