Art & Chautauqua - Carl Jung: Visions and Dream FREE January 15, 2012

Carl Jung’s use of art, in his life and his psychiatric practice, will come alive on Sunday, January 15, at 2:00 pm, as Greenville Chautauqua and the Greenville County Museum of Art collaborate in Carl Jung: Visions and Dreams.

Dr. George Frein leads off with an illustrated lecture and discussion. Frein has researched Carl Jung’s work for more than forty years, and he will portray the noted psychiatrist during the June Chautauqua Festival. After his talk, audience members will be invited to explore the exhibition of Jasper Johns’ work with an eye toward that exhibition’s psychological queries.
