Aromatherapy for Health and Beauty August 18, 2010

Come along with Tim Blakley, expert aromatherapist, for a discussion on essential oils and aromatherapy. Tim will take a closer look at where oils come from, how they are made and how they are used. He will also discuss quality issues and recent research on essential oils and aromatherapy. You'll have the opportunity to experience a variety of samples and make aromatherapy products to take home!

As the Aromatherapist for Aura Cacia, Tim Blakley provides aromatherapy education throughout North America. His 30 year experience includes authoring Medicinal Herbs in the Garden, Field and Marketplace, worldwide travel researching essential oil plants and herbs, and managing the National Center for the Preservation of Medicinal Herbs. He has also held positions with the California School of Herbal Studies, Herb Pharm, and Frontier Natural Products Coop. Tim lives and practices aromatherapy in Hawaii.
