‘GIANT VILLAGE' SUMMER 2007

On Saturday, July 14, 2007, the 2nd Annual GIANT Village Summer Festival, presented by MOBIO, brings a new theme: ‘ARMIN LIVE IN LA.' That's ‘Armin' as in Armin van Buuren, quite possibly the fastest rising star in dance music today, garnering the #2 Ranking in DJ MAG for 2006. ‘ARMIN LIVE IN…' is his stateside nod to his epic ‘ARMIN ONLY' events in Europe.

Highlights of this summer's GIANT Village…

ARMIN LIVE IN LA: Armin Van Buuren performing live on a custom built panoramic stage. Located in the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Hope Street, this stage provides excellent vantage points from 3 sides, with a side stage and the backstage area set aside for VIP Ticket holders only (see below). On this stage, Armin will perform with special guests including Rank 1 (Live), featured vocalists Jennifer Rene and Susana and a variety of special surprises including dancers and aerialists.

STOLI CHILL VILLE: Located near the main entrance (at Flower and Wilshire) in the Pegasus Building, this ‘open to everyone lounge' features music by Desyn Masiello, 16 Bit Lolitas and Jason Bentley. Miami based ‘Kryogenifex' will be keeping things ‘very chill' with frequent blasts of jet-propelled liquid nitrogen and Stoli has assembled an array of cool cocktails and interactive ‘chill' lounging.

944 MAGAZINE'S ‘STREET CRED' VIP LOUNGE - VIP TICKETS AVAILABLE: Located stage left and backstage of Armin's stage, this VIP lounge features a separate VIP Entrance to the event (at 7th and Hope Street), a premium open bar all night, side stage view access, backstage lounge access and exclusive access to the latest in toilet technology, men's and women's executive restroom trailers.

THE GIANT FERRIS WHEEL: Always a hit, the GIANT Ferris Wheel provides one of the most incredible views overlooking the massive dance floor to the stage. Other amusements include the ‘phycho-comic vis-u-rama' roaming visuals of MC THIS, a ‘sky-kro-bat' aerial spectacular by Stilt Circus and, of course, full service bars and food concessionaires located throughout the entire Village.
