Armed Forces Proms in the Park Concert June 24, 2012

Proms in the Park Concert for Armed Forces Day with the The Band of HM Royal Marines (Scotland) and the young musicians of the Durham County Schools Wind Band. Members of the public are invited to picnic in the grounds of County Hall, Durham before and during the concert which will end with a Sunset Ceremony. Prior to the concert the Chairman of Durham County Council wll present Veterans Badges and host an afternoon tea for veterans and their families in County Hall. Veterans will then be guests of honour at the concert. FREE OF CHARGE to all and FREE PARKING.
