Armed Forces Flag Rasing Ceremony and Plaque Unveiling June 25, 2012

The Armed Forces Flag Ceremony takes place on Monday 25th June at 10.30am outside the Council Offices.

I will be sending invitations to Veterans and those currently serving in the Armed Forces, and other organisations to join Members and Officers on this important national occasion.

The Council will also be unveiling the newly laid Armed Forces Stone at the front of the Council Offices in tribute to our glorious Fighting Forces.

Following this current Members and Veterans of the Armed Forces will be invited into the Civic Suite for a cream tea reception.
