Armed Forces Day Flag Raising Ceremony June 21, 2010

Raising of the Armed Forces Day Flag 2010, which will fly from the Council House until the 26th June. The military tri-services will be in attendance with the support of a military band. Army personnel will be abseiling down the Council House as part of the ceremony. This is the official start of the Armed Forces Day celebrations, which culminates in the Armed Forces Weekend at Wollaton Park in Nottingam on the 26th & 27th June 2010, the East Midlands AFD Flagship event.
