Mission
Provide an opportunity for volunteer and service-learning leaders of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to inspire, energize and mobilize volunteer and service learning practitioners to further develop and foster their skills and to better serve Arizona’s real community needs through collaborative effort.
Vision
Build a better Arizona through volunteerism and service-learning. Description The inaugural Arizona Summit on Volunteerism and Service-Learning is the only conference of its kind in Arizona and is the result of the collaborative efforts of individuals and organizations across our great state. This Summit seeks to bring together leaders and practitioners of volunteerism and service-learning that include community and faith-based, K-12 schools, higher education, youth development organizations, community service groups, corporate/business, and government agencies interested in building a better Arizona through volunteerism and service learning. This unparalleled conference will provide important training and professional development that will strengthen volunteer and service learning efforts and inform about critical areas of need in Arizona through engaging plenary sessions, interactive workshops, innovative service experiences, exhibits, networking, specialized tracks and more.
