Arizona Balloon Classic November 18, 2011

More than 50 hot-air balloons will participate in the inaugural Arizona Balloon Classic, November 18 – 20 at Wild Horse Pass at the Gila River Indian Community. The weekend celebration will feature dawn patrol and morning liftoffs, afternoon mass ascensions and evening glow events. The festival will also include musical and family-friendly entertainment, skydivers, fireworks, a Family Fun Zone with children’s activities, exhibits, sampling, shopping and more. A portion of event proceeds will benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital and St. Mary’s Food Bank.

Times:
Friday, Nov. 18 - Gates open: 5:30 a.m., Gates close: 8 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 19 - Gates open: 5:30 a.m., Gates close: 8 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 20 - Gates open: 5:30 a.m., Gates close: 5:30 p.m.

Ticket prices: For any one event - $7 in advance; $10 at the gate. A daily All-Day pass is $16 in advance; $18 at the gate. Weekend pass is $30 in advance; $40 at the gate. Discounted group tickets for 20 or more are available in advance for $6 each. Family Packs of four daily tickets and four tee shirts are $40 in advance. Children five years old and younger are free. General parking is $5; VIP parking is $7.
