Argentinian Tango Workshop March 24, 2007

Two Argentinian Tango teachers are currently visiting York. Before
they resume their tour through Europe, a couple of workshops will be organised during the WE.

Saturday 24th of March: The workshop will go from 3 to 4:30 PM plus half
an hour of practice until 5PM. The workshop will be about "Voleo and
Traspie" and will cover (mostly) their technical aspects. There is no
tango level required for this workshop as both movements will be
developed from scratch.

Sunday 25th of March: "Musicality and close embrace". The workshop will,
again, go from 3 to 4:30 plus half an hour of practice after the class. This
workshop is meant to build on top of Saturday's one and will reinforce
how to place "Voleos and traspies" in the music using a milonguero
embrace (close embrace). Again, there is no level required for this
workshop (as the technical elements will be the ones developed on Saturday).

Both workshops will be held in Edge bar (Wentworth Graduate's college
bar, at the University of York). The price for each workshop is £10 and
£15 for both (25% discount) if you decide to come on Saturday and Sunday.
