Are you the next Santana Row Top Chef? Enter the Pear Recipe Challenge September 9, 2008

Non-professional cooks are invited to submit a written recipe and photo of their best pear dish for consideration to be one of 5 finalists whose finished dish will be taste-tested by a panel of judges during the Annual Pear Festival on Sunday, October 19th. All applications must be submitted to the Santana Row Concierge on or before Friday, October 10. On the day of the Annual Pear Festival, 5 finalists will present their finished dish and copies of their recipe to Santana Row at 3:00 p.m. At 4 p.m. a panel of judges will taste each dish, choose the winner based on taste and originality. The winner will receive a Santana Row "Chef Lovers" package including a signed copy of Giada's new book, $100 gift card to Consuelo's Mexican Bistro, Santana Row shopping spree, photo and recipe mention on http://www.santanarow.com/ and more.
