Kristina Griffith, DC invites female athletes to join her for Women & Sports Networking on Saturday, May 11 from 2:00—5:00 pm at Advanced Sports Chiropractic. She’ll be focusing on the unique interests and needs of female athletes.

The event includes light refreshments, chair massages, information on mental conditioning, injury treatment demonstrations, and nutrition ideas that relate specifically to women and sports!

Dr. Griffith, an athlete herself, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science from Rochester Institute of Technology and her Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. She practices at Advanced Sports Chiropractic in Doylestown where she treats spinal and soft tissue injuries and educates her patients on how to prevent injuries and maintain good health.

Joining Dr. Griffith will be Sports Psychologist, Dr. K.C. Wilder, Sports Nutritionist Joanna K. Chodorowska, BA, NC, TPTH and Massage Therapist Sydney Lohan, LMT.

One of the nation’s leading mental training experts, Dr. Wilder is uniquely qualified to coach athletes on the art and science of mental conditioning for peak performance. She holds a doctorate in Applied Sports Psychology from the University of Virginia, as well as credentials as a certified trainer, author, corporate advisor and motivational speaker. Her own distinguished athletic achievements include All-American cycling honors, a top 20 U.S. professional cycling ranking, and two Master’s national championships.

Dr. Wilder has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Triathlete magazine, on the cover of Bucks County Woman, in the Huffington Post, and on ABC 6 News Philadelphia.

Ms. Chodorowska is a sports nutrition coach who helps athletes improve their performance and reaction time and have clearer thoughts by using real foods in their daily routines. As an athlete herself, she understands the needs athletes have including planning meals, and avoiding situations like dehydration, bonking and running out of energy. Her service, Nutrition Response Testing, uses the body’s reflexes to test whether supplements or foods are aiding in athletic performance or creating weakness and malabsorption.

Ms. Lohan is a massage therapist with more than 21 years of experience treating professional football, hockey and basketball players as well as Olympic athletes, martial artists, golfers, business travelers and weekend warriors. Her work ranges from deep tissue, therapeutic and sports massage to spa, light touch, and energy work.
