Noted architecture historian Francis Morrone will address the different styles that populate the Grand Concourse, from the Palladian opulence of the Freedman Home to the stark brutalism of Paul Rudolph’s Tracey Towers. In between these extremes, the many Art Deco examples that characterize the area. Introduced by Paul Gunther.
