"Two designers-turned-directors put the spotlight on architectural education." - Architect Magazine, Studio Verite Article
The directors of the highly anticipated documentary, Archiculture, would like to invite you to a Send Off Party. The celebration will take place at AIASF on Wednesday, November 28 from 5:30-7:30. It is a chance to meet the directors, who are both local architects, and help support a grass roots documentary about our profession and our training. For those of you who know the directors of the film, this will be your last chance to send them off before they move to New York to begin production at Pratt Institute. A brief description of the film is provided below. More information on the project is available at our website www.archiculturefilm.com. We will have a brief presentation midway through the party and will provide drinks and music. We look forward to meeting you and sharing this impactful project.

Archiculture is a feature length documentary that examines contemporary issues surrounding the realm of architecture through the perspective of university students during their final thesis semester. The film follows the protagonists through the evolution of their respective senior thesis projects and the internal and external conflicts each student faces during this intense year-long process. The film provides viewers with an in-depth look into the creative yet competitive process of architectural education while also depicting current issues such as the role of architecture in society, the disproportion of gender and race within the profession, and environmentally conscious design.
Hope to see you there.
Sincerely,
Ian Harris and David Krantz
