Silverpoint, or "metalpoint", is a venerable technique used by the masters. A pointed wire is pulled across a painted ground, leaving behind a silvery residue that eventually tarnishes. It lends itself to extremely fine detail not possible with traditional pencil techniques. Participants will explore & experiment with different techniques.
