Archaeology Open House October 5, 2007

Visit Poplar Forest for Archaeology Open House on Saturday, October 6, 2007 for a free behind-the-scenes look at excavation underway at the third president’s retreat in Bedford County. Poplar Forest archaeologists will provide guided tours of the current excavation site and the laboratory where artifacts are processed.

Tours will begin at 11:15 am, 12:15, 1:15, and 2:15 pm.
