Archaeology Open House October 3, 2008

Mark Archaeology Month with an inside look at archaeology at Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest. Poplar Forest archaeologists will take visitors on special tours to view active excavation sites and the archaeology lab where artifacts are washed, mended, and labeled. The free tours are offered at 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., and 2:15 p.m.

House tours are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with admission.
