As a "volunter" this is a big scam....beer at 5$ per 12 oz to public; Tip jar which was occ. given to disappeared at the end ( 5 O'clock). So to WORK constantly in a very un-organized setting, and the only "reward" is a t-shirt and a chip good for one beer is degrading. Who are these people and where and what does all the money go for ?. The woman in yellow shirt rather surly attitude towards beer buyers- never heard a thank-you to anyone, nor to the people who manned the sloppy messy area spillage area of beer pouring. "This is our only chance of making money " is all I heard from her. No vendors of craft items, just a place tp pay for a cooked oyster and be served to eat it with a plastic fork ( try to get the muscle attachment off the shell with that). This is just a simple food fest where high prices reign and any so called beer servers are rewarded by being a person non grata- and who gets the tip jar ?
Never mind if it was only a few bucks. The exact same beer from MAD RIVER is sold in a resturant for 3.50 a glass. MY advice: NEVER, EVER volunteer for this, and why bother even going; unless you like crowwds who have nothing better to do than spend money on very over-priced food and beer. Pissed off in Redding
