Apne Aap Women Worldwide celebrates one billion rising February 14, 2013

Apne Aap Women Worldwide, is celebrating End Violence Against Women Day on February 14, 2013, with multiple events in Kolkata, Forbesganj (Bihar) and Najafgarh (New Delhi).
The celebration will be marked with songs, dances and speeches by women and girls from Red Light Areas in these cities.
In Delhi, Apne Aap Women Worldwide has organized a poster competition titled Rise Against Rape which has attracted keen participation from students of institutions like The College of Art, New Delhi, The National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi and Jamia Millia University.
The posters will be displayed at an exhibition in collaboration with ANHAD, a social organization for Harmony and Democracy at the National Law University Auditorium, Sector 14, Dwarka, New Delhi on February 14, 2013 from 3-6pm.
