The Asian American Community of Elgin (AACE) will be hosting its second annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) Celebration. A “Splendid Evening” dinner and dance promises to be one of Elgin’s premier cultural and community bonding festivals of the year. This is a fund raising event within the greater Elgin community. Over 200 guests will enjoy an enticing experience with an opening cash-bar cocktail reception with a spirited arts and handicrafts exhibition and fund-raising raffle, followed by dinner with a cultural fashion show and entertainment performances. Political and community leaders who support our local population will be in attendance. The Homeland Exhibition is open to the public. Tickets are $35.00 per person for the Splendid Dinner and cultural performances in the Heritage Ballroom. For tickets and more information please contact Sue Christensen at (847) 226-4361 or visit our Web site.
