Antique Japanese Flower Bamboo Baskets March 7, 2007

This unique exhibition brings to our community objects that have traditionally been overlooked by museums when presenting exhibitions on Japan's rich cultural heritage. Approximately 60 bamboo baskets of diverse styles spanning many culture periods will be included. The baskets, lovingly and painstakingly crafted by artisans, will celebrate this integral element of the Japanese culture. These works comes from the collection of James and Noriko Keating.
